Fuller Brook Park Update, July 20, 2017

Cottage Street Construction

The drainage structures near the bridge at Fuller Brook have all been installed. Starting Friday July 21 the contractor will begin installing the new 24” drain line, moving up the street starting at #49. They anticipate 6-7 work days to finish the new pipe installation. During this process access to driveways may be limited directly at each day’s worksite.

This week the Water and Sewer Division is moving some of the water service piping at #39, 41, 45, and 47 so as not to conflict with the new drain line. This may result in brief service interruptions at each connection.

Starting Monday, 7/17, the hours of the road closure will shift to 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Construction work the week of July 10-14 will be concentrated at the end of the project closest to Fuller Brook. The road will be closed to through traffic but all residents will have access to their driveways. The construction limits for the project are from house numbers 38/39 to Fuller Brook. Access to driveways outside this area will not be affected.

The Town of Wellesley Department of Works will be installing new drainage infrastructure on Cottage Street starting the week of July 10th. The work will require closing the road between Grove and Washington Streets, with limited local access. The work will take approximately four weeks to complete.
