Welcome to the Town of Wellesley benefit information page.

Please be advised that initial selections and subsequent changes to your benefits can only be made during the first 30 days from your hire date, a life event (birth, death, adoption, marriage, divorce, etc.) or during open enrollment.  Day 1 of the 30 day deadline begins on the date of hire or the life event change.  If you have experienced  a life event that has made you eligible to enroll in benefits outside of open enrollment, click here for instructions on what to do and what is needed to enroll.

please noteInformation regarding benefits and benefit enrollment is sent to the email address the employee has provided for payroll purposes.  Please check your email for any information related to benefit enrollment to include signing up for the first time and possible issues with your enrollment.  Any enrollment issues not addressed during the first 30 days of your employment will result in the inability to enroll in benefits until the next open enrollment period or as a result of a life change.

  1. Health-Insurance


    The town offers a wide variety of health plans for its benefit eligible employees.  A benefit eligible employee is defined as an employee who is regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week.

    Long Term Disability insurance is provided to all benefit eligible employees.  Employees have the ability to choose one of two different levels of coverage.  

  1. Altus Dental


    The Town of Wellesley dental plan provider is Altus dental.  The Town offers two different levels of coverage:  a high option coverage and a low option coverage.  To review which option is right for you, click the Altus Dental icon above.

  2. Aflac


    Life is expensive.  Accidents happen.  Aflac's accident, hospital and/or critical illness insurance offerings to eligible employees may help to offset life's unexpected events. Check out the new options and see which one (or all?) may be right for you!

    EyeMed is one of the additional insurance options for benefit eligible Town employees.  EyeMed offers a wide variety of benefits to its members.  Check out all EyeMed has to offer and see if this benefit is right for you!

    Life is unpredictable and can leave you with unforseen expenses in the blink of an eye.  Benefit eligible Town Employees have the option to sign up for two different supplemental life insurance plans during their first 30 days of benefit eligibility.  Click on the link above to view your options and protect your family today!
