The Department of Public Works (DPW) hosted a virtual neighborhood meeting on Thursday, February 3, 2022 for the public to to learn about and share feedback on the upcoming proposed Walnut Street Roadway Improvement Project.

This feedback will be helpful to us as we finalize our plans so that we can bid the project in February and have bids in hand with firm project pricing for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting in March.

If the project is approved at Town Meeting, construction will begin this summer and is expected to last until November 2023 with a winter 2022/2023 moratorium. The project limits are from Washington Street, near Warren Park, through the Town limit at the Charles River.
