This act requires municipalities to designate 1 or more Records Access Officers (RAO), who shall coordinate the Town's response to requests for access to public records; assist individuals seeking public records in identifying the records requested; and assist the custodian of records in preserving public records. More information on the new Public Records Law is available from the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
