The high-dose quadrivalent vaccine is an inactivated vaccine (meaning it uses the killed version of the germ that causes a disease) approved for people 65+. This vaccine contains four times the antigen of standard-dose inactivated flu vaccines. Antigen is the part of the vaccine that helps your body build up protection against flu viruses.
COVID Booster Available
The Health Department has a limited supply of the new bivalent COVID booster available at this clinic (Moderna only). This booster is only available for those who have registered for the Flu vaccine clinic on October 4 and is only available until supplies run out. Please let the Health Department staff know you would like the booster when you arrive. It is safe to receive both a Flu vaccine and a COVID vaccine at the same time.
The Health Department will have free COVID test kits available at this clinic.
