WasteWise Wellesley

In late 2016, the Town of Wellesley’s 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Working Group launched WasteWise Wellesley, a new campaign to promote sustainable materials management throughout the community. The 3R Working Group is a collaboration of Wellesley’s Department of Public Works, Natural Resources Commission, and Climate Action Committee.

Waste Wise Wellesley

WasteWise is a voluntary program sponsored by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MADEP). The program helps its partners to reduce their purchasing and waste disposal costs and decrease their contributions to climate change and other adverse environmental and human health impacts arising from our consumption, use, and disposal of materials. As a WasteWise partner, Wellesley joins other businesses, governments, and non-profit organizations nationwide, who are interested in more productively using and reusing materials throughout their lifecycles.
