Help preserve and protect the historical assets in our community by serving as a voting member of the Wellesley Historical Commission.
The Commission is seeking a trained or practicing architect to fill a vacant board position.
This seven-member board educates the community on the benefits of protecting historic properties through the Historic Plaque Program. Members also advocate for local bylaws to encourage the preservation and reuse of both public and private historic assets, and work with other Town boards and local groups to support thoughtful community growth.
Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at Town Hall.
Interested candidates should email Historical Commission chairman Grant Brown at grant@wellesleyhistoricalcommission.org indicating their interest. Please include a resume or details about any professional qualifications.
The Historical Commission hopes to fill this vacancy before the end of the summer.
