Feedback: Wellesley Avenue and Forest Street

Wellesley Ave and Forest Street overview photo.During the fall of 2022 the Town of Wellesley implemented a small temporary change at the intersection of Forest St and Wellesley Ave, near Babson College.  The stop sign on the northbound approach was moved closer to the middle of the intersection in order to increase the sight lines and to improve the processing time. Feedback was solicited from roadway users to help determine if the geometric change should be made permanent by modifying the existing curb lines.  The temporary design has been removed for the winter to facilitate plowing and winter road maintenance. The Traffic Committee will be reviewing all of the feedback received and making a recommendation regarding any permanent changes in the spring.

If you would like to provide feedback on the intersection change and have not done so already, please email your thoughts to the address below.  You will not receive a response, but your feedback will be important in considering any permanent modifications to the intersection.  Thank you.
