Save the Date for Special Town Meeting on May 13 -14, 2019.
The Board of Selectmen will convene a Special Town Meeting at the Wellesley Middle School Auditorium on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. to consider additional articles not under consideration at Annual Town Meeting. Town Meeting Members are asked to reserve both Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14 for the meeting in the event two nights are needed. The Warrant for Special Town Meeting will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 29.
Anyone desiring to have an article included in the Warrant must have a petition signed by not less than 100 registered voters of the Town, verified by the Town Clerk, and submitted to the Board of Selectmen prior to the warrant closing. The Advisory Committee will hold a Public Hearing on all Special Town Meeting articles on Wednesday, April 10.
