Wellesley Historical Commission Seeks Members

News Logo

Help promote the preservation of Wellesley's historical, architectural and cultural character by serving on the Wellesley Historical Commission

The Commission is currently looking for volunteers to fill vacant seats. Individuals with architectural training are especially needed.

The Historical Commission educates the community about the importance of historical preservation in Town through efforts such as the Historic Plaque program, and advocacy for local regulations and actions that encourage preserving, restoring and reusing public and private properties.

Members also work with other Town boards, owners, developers, realtors and residents to address development and growth in the community.

Interested candidates should email a cover letter and resume to the Historical Commission, or complete and submit the Volunteer Form found on the Town of Wellesley website.
