Thank you to Wellesley Fire and Police Departments for their service to our community during this Thanksgiving week!
On Sunday, November 23, more than 160 senior residents enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Babson College, sponsored by the Wellesley Fire Department. Turkey and side dishes were prepared by Babson executive chef Dennis Williams and his staff, and served by fire fighters and local officials.
This marked the 53rd year for this community event which was started by the Wellesley veterans in 1966, and taken over by the Fire Department in 2014.
On Thursday, November 28, Police Department officers spent Thanksgiving Day working the Wellesley Turkey Trot 5K and the annual Wellesley-Needham high school football game.
We appreciate all of the first responders who give so much to our community!
