All Wellesley residents should have received annual Town Census forms in the mail.
Please complete these forms and return them as soon as possible.
The Town Clerk’s office conducts the local census every year starting in January. If you did not receive a mailed form, please download the census form on the Town of Wellesley website.
Completed forms may be delivered in person or returned by mail to: Town Clerk’s Office, 525 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA 02482.
The Town Census is required by State statue in preparation for the annual street listing. It is different from the United States 2020 Census that begin on January 21.
The information required on the form provides proof of residence to protect voting rights, veterans’ bonus, housing for the elderly and related benefits as well as providing information for selection of jurors.
Residents may also renew dog licenses when completing the Town Census. Go to the Town website and complete the online dog license application.
Dog licenses must be renewed by April 1 to avoid a late fee.
