What will Wellesley Town Meeting Members be discussing and voting on this spring?
The 2020 Annual Town Meeting warrant has been posted by the Town Constable and is now available for residents to review.
This year’s meeting begins on Monday, March 30 at 7 p.m. in the Wellesley Middle School Auditorium.
The warrant is the list of items to be considered. This year there are 50 items, called articles, that have been proposed by Town boards, committees, or citizens on topics relating to appropriations, amendments to general Town or Zoning bylaws, new general laws, petitions for special legislation, and other Town business.
Copies of the warrant are posted in the Town Clerk’s office, the Wellesley Police Department, and on the Town of Wellesley website. Residents may also request a copy from the Clerk’s office or the Selectmen’s office.
The Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on the warrant articles on Thursday, February 27 at 7 p.m. in the Kingsbury Room at the Wellesley Police Department.
