UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Due to concerns with COVID 19, the Wellesley Police Department’s entrance exam scheduled for June 20 has been POSTPONED.  There is no reschedule date for the exam as of this writing (May 26, 2020).  When a new date is provided, it will be posted here as well as the police department’s Facebook page and Twitter feed.


Considering a career in public safety?

The Wellesley Police Department is looking for qualified candidates interested in becoming police officers. 

The department enjoys an outstanding relationship with the Wellesley community and take pride in keeping Wellesley safe. 

To accomplish this, WPD is recruiting qualified and capable candidates to join its ranks. 

Register NOW for the Police Officer Entrance Exam on Saturday, June 20, 2020 (NOTE:  DATE HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID 19) The exam will take place at Wellesley High School (50 Rice Street, Wellesley, MA). The examination fee is $80.

The deadline to register is Friday, June 12 at 8 a.m.
