Remote Home Energy Assessments Available to Residents

WMLP Logo

Staying at home during the ongoing Coronavirus crisis may increase utility bills. Help lower these costs with a home energy savings plan.

The Wellesley Muncipal Light Plant is working with Energy New England (ENE) to offer remote home energy assessments for residents.

An energy audit is done by using the video feature on iPhones or Androids. Energy assessors capture information about use and waste in homes and create an individualized energy savings plan. This plan is reviewed with residents and cost-saving improvements are recommended.

LED bulbs and other energy saving measures are mailed or delivered to homeowners to install.

The energy assessments are free to all Wellesley Muncipal Light Plant customers. Schedule an appointment by calling 888-772-4242 or going the ENE energy efficiency website, www.ee.ene.org.
