Wellesley Neighbors Program Next Week
On October 28 at 7:30 pm, Wellesley Neighbors (WN) presents Zoom speaker Rosalie Gimeno, whose research and teaching have focused on Spain’s Golden Age. She will discuss Juan del Encino, the father of Spanish theater—one might say the Shakespeare of Spain. Rosalie will highlight his first eight plays, which reveal a social tapestry of the late 15th century. WN is a membership organization for older singles and couples, but is sharing speakers with the community during the epidemic. Call Joyce Wadlington at (781) 283-0417 to register your email address and receive a Zoom link.
