COVID-19 Booster Reminder
Is it time for a booster?
As we continue through the holiday season, we highly encourage Wellesley seniors to protect their health by getting their COVID-19 booster shot if they are eligible. Boosters are the best way to stay safe and prevent hospitalization from COVID-19. COVID-19 boosters are safe, effective, and free. Individuals do not need an ID or health insurance to access a booster, and they do not need to show a vaccine card.
Should I get the booster shot?
The FDA and CDC have determined that the COVID-19 booster shots are safe and will increase protection against COVID-19. With a continuing increase in COVID-19 cases, getting a booster is recommended to increase vaccine effectiveness.
Who is eligible?
- Individuals 18+ who are fully vaccinated and received their last Pfizer or Moderna vaccine six months ago or longer; or
- Individuals 18+ who are fully vaccinated and received their Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago.
How can I schedule an appointment?
