At its September 11, 2018 meeting, School Committee:
- Was introduced to the new WPS Administrators:
Cynthia Mahr, Assistant Superintendent of Finance & Operations
Wen Cobb, Director of Accounting and Business Services
Greg Beaupre, High School Department Head of Special Education
- Was introduced to the new School Resource Officer, Kathy Poirier, and appointed her as a WPS Attendance Supervisor.
- Reviewed the 2018-19 School Committee Meeting Calendar.
- Was provided an update on the work of the SBC and the Hunnewell and Hardy/Upham Projects.
- Discussed the terms of the Superintendent’s draft employment contract, effective July 1, 2019.
