Annual Town Meeting Starts
March 25, 2019

The Warrant for the 2019 Annual Town Meeting
has been posted and is available online.  Annual Town Meeting (ATM) 2019 will begin on Monday March 25, 2019.  ATM 2019 is expected to continue on March 26, April 1, 2, 8 and 9.  Town Meeting Members should also reserve April 22, 23, 29 and 30.

Contested Races for Town Wide Offices and Town Meeting


The Board of Selectmen, Board of Health, Planning Board and Natural Resources Commission have contested races.

The Warrant has been posted and is available online.  Candidate lists and the ballot order for Town Wide Office and for Town Meeting are available online.

To learn more about the candidates, Candidates Forums are being hosted by Sustainable Wellesley on Sunday February 10th and the League of Women Voters on February 28th.

Write-In Candidates Wanted!


Precincts A, F and G need additional candidates to fill open seats for Town Meeting.  In addition, the Recreation Commission has an open seat for a one-year position.  Encourage your friends and neighbors to become a write-in candidate.  

To be elected, a write-in candidate must win the election, and the number of write-in votes must equal the number of signatures required on nomination papers.  Recreation Commission requires 50 votes town wide and Town Meeting requires 10 votes in an individual precinct.  For more information contact the Town Clerk at kckato@wellesleyma.gov.
