Run for Town Meeting Member in Precinct D or Precinct F!
Due to resignations, there is one vacant Town Meeting Member seat in both Precinct D and Precinct F. According to the Town Bylaws, Special Elections must take place to fill the vacancies.
The Town Clerk will hold the Special Elections on Thursday October 12, 2023 on Zoom with all current Precinct D and Precinct F Town Meeting Members participating.
Interested candidates must be registered voters in either Precinct D or Precinct F and if elected, will serve until the next Annual Town Election.
Any resident may nominate a candidate for this position, or candidates may nominate themselves. Nominations must be received by October 5th and should be in writing or by email to the Town Clerk and include name, address, and email address if available. The nominee's permission should be obtained in advance.
The winner of this Special Election will take part in the 2023 Fall Special Town Meeting on November 6 and 7 at 7:00 PM at the Wellesley Middle School.
