Most Wellesley municipal buildings and departments will be closed on Friday, November 10 for Veterans Day. However, the Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF) and the Wellesley Free Library will follow the schedule below:
- OPEN regular hours on Friday, November 10 & Sunday, November 12
- CLOSED on Saturday, November 11
Regular business hours will resume on Monday, November 13. Please check department webpages for specific times.
Veterans Day Ceremony
The community is invited to attend a ceremony honoring all Veterans on Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m. in front of the War Memorial at Wellesley Town Hall. (Rain location is at the Wellesley Free Library).
The event will recognize retired military personnel, and includes guest speakers, the Wellesley Police and Fire Department honor guards, members of American Legion Post 72, and a special POW ceremony.
