Share feedback and ask questions about the use of Wellesley's athletic fields at a community forum on Thursday, December 7.
This meeting will be held on Zoom from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and advance registration is encouraged.
The forum will include a debrief on the use of athletic fields after the fall season, including the Hunnewell Track and Field complex and the Sprague fields as well as other school fields and parks across town that are used for athletics.
Discussion topics may include but are not limited to: traffic, parking, trash and recycling, recent improvements, and other operational issues.
Community members are welcome to suggest additional discussion topics and email questions in advance to Natural Resources Commission Director Brandon Schmitt at bschmitt@wellesleyma.gov.
Representatives of several Town boards and departments will be in attendance to share updates and respond to questions and feedback, including the Natural Resources Commission, School Committee, Wellesley Public Schools staff, Wellesley Police Department, and the Department of Public Works.
A similar forum will be scheduled after the 2024 spring sports season.
