Embrace the cold and join Wellesley's Winter Walk, Bike & Roll to School day on Wednesday, February 7.
It's fun, invigorating, and celebrates the benefits of staying active and being outdoors in the winter.
Like other Walk, Bike & Roll to School events during the school year, the Winter Walk is one of the flagship activities supporting Wellesley's partnership with the Massachusetts Safe Routes to School program.
Being active before school starts is healthier for kids, helps improve focus and attention in school, and walking can save money on gas.
Take part on February 7. Individual schools can register on the Safe Routes to School website and get free materials to help promote your walks.
