Buses will replace the MBTA Commuter Rail through Wellesley on Saturday, March 2 due to planned railway maintenance work.
No trains will be running between Framingham and South Station on the Worcester line for the entire day. The MBTA will be upgrading signals on that stretch of track during the detour.
Buses will serve the 11 stops in Natick, Wellesley, Newton, and Boston. In Wellesley Hills, riders can also connect with other buses that have temporarily replaced Green Line T service from Riverside into the Back Bay. See the diversion schedule.
Commuter Rail service is expected to return to normal on Sunday, March 3.
