[ARCHIVED] Celebrate Public Health Week, April 1-5

Health Department Logo Transparent

Join the Health Department on Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5 to celebrate National Public Health Week with activities focused on making our community healthier, safer, and stronger.

The full week runs April 1-7 and this year’s theme is “Protecting, Connecting and Thriving: We Are All Public Health.”  Public health is more than simply how the Health Department serves the Wellesley community — protecting our access to clean water and air, to nutritious and safe foods,  and to the right and ability to access essential health services — but also includes the ways our community flourishes when we all have our needs met.

Each day of National Public Health Week will highlight different divisions within the Health Department. Learn how each team works both with the Wellesley community and with each other.

Meet the Health Department staff and learn more about our services and programs with hands on games and activities and fun giveaways and prizes. The event schedule is below and all activities are free and open to everyone!

The goal of the 29th National Public Health Week is to help all of us support and stay engaged with one another. When we connect with each other, whether with our neighbors, Town staff, and elected officials, we can build relationships that protect our health and enrich our lives.
