Wellesley is proud to partner with the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) and host a segment of the 128th Boston Marathon, including the halfway point!
With less than one week until the Marathon, the B.A.A. has released a detailed Spectator Guide.
The guide includes a complete race map, public transit information, and approximate race times to watch for elite runners and runners in all waves. Please remember to keep the course clear at all times and help runners and spectators stay safe.
In the coming days, watch for information from the Wellesley Police Department about event parking/no parking and road closures and times.
Information will also be posted on the social media accounts (X/Twitter and Facebook/Instagram for the Wellesley Police Department @WellesleyPolice, and the Town of Wellesley @TownOfWellesley.
There are 25 members of the Town of Wellesley 2024 Boston Marathon Team who running and fundraising for local nonprofits, along with many residents taking part this year.
