The Wellesley Police Department is proud to announce that Patrick Carr has joined the department as a police officer.
Officer Carr was appointed by the Wellesley Select Board to the WPD in September of 2023. Following that appointment, Officer Carr spent the next six months at the Randolph Police Academy. He recently graduated from the academy and has begun his field training.

Officer Carr grew up in Natick and interned with the Wellesley Police Department during the summer of 2022. He is a 2023 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He also recently obtained his certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
Officer Carr will spend the next few months in field training with a senior Field Training Officer learning the practical aspects of the Wellesley Police Department.
