A new Community Events calendar is now on the homepage of the Town of Wellesley website.
Local organizations and groups are invited to submit information about one-time special events or programs for our community. Acceptable events should generally promote educational, social, cultural, or recreational activities in Wellesley open to the general public and sponsored by nonprofit, civic, social, charitable, fraternal, or educational organizations.
Regularly scheduled activities such as church services, exercise classes, sports events, etc. do NOT fall within the calendar guidelines. NO political or commercial events will be promoted.
Events will be included on the Community Calendar for the current month. Please submit information no more than 30 days prior to the event date.
This calendar is entirely community-driven; the Town is hosting the information on its website. Only events submitted via the event form will be promoted - please remember to fill out the form completely. Incomplete information will not be promoted.
The Town of Wellesley will review all postings prior to publication of the event, will limit excessive posting from any one organization, and reserves the right to reject any posting deemed to be offensive, inappropriate, or not in the public’s interest or in conflict with these guidelines.
