The Water and Sewer Department is conducting routine leak detection testing on Wellesley's water distribution system.
Two contracted professionals will be riding E-bikes and stopping at hydrants throughout Town to perform these tests. These individuals will be wearing identification and are authorized by the Water and Sewer Department to carry out these inspections.
The testing is part of ongoing efforts to maintain the integrity of our water supply system and make sure any potential leaks are identified and repaired promptly.
Testing will take place over an extended period of time and is essential to keeping our infrastructure in good condition.
