Take part in a public meeting on Wednesday, October 30 to discuss the Wellesley Safe Routes Plan, which aims to review and improve pedestrian and bicycle routes in our community.
The hybrid meeting is hosted by the Mobility Committee in collaboration with consultants Kittleson & Associates and will take place in-person from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tolles Parsons Center (500 Washington Street). A Zoom option is also available; sign up to attend using the Zoom meeting link.
The goal is to identify low-stress routes and explore opportunities to enhance our walking and biking infrastructure. This project will develop a network of safe walking and biking routes, address gaps, and highlight easy opportunities for improvement.
The Safe Routes Plan is funded by a $50,000 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant.
Your feedback is crucial, and we look forward to hearing from as many residents as possible.
