The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will close ramps overnight at the I-90/I-95 interchange beginning Sunday, December 15.
Closures will be in place each night from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following morning, and will be in effect through Thursday, December 19.
Drivers wanting to access I-95 northbound from I-90 eastbound and westbound will be rerouted to I-95 southbound where they can take exit 37 to reverse direction and continue onto I-95 northbound.
These closures are necessary so crews can safely continue construction operations for the Newton/Weston bridge rehabilitation project.
Driver should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution when traveling through these areas. Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Please note: Work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled due to bad weather or emergencies.
Route 30 On-Ramp Also Closed. As part of this project, the Route 30 on-ramp to I-95 southbound in Weston will be closed overnight on Thursday, December 19.
The closure will be in effect from 10 p.m. that night until 4 a.m. the following morning.
