Ramps on I-90 (Mass Pike) and I-95 (Route 128) in Newton and Weston will be closed nightly on Friday, February 14 through Saturday, February 22.
Closures will be in effect from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on weekends.
Traffic will be rerouted and drivers should expect delays and reduced speeds.
The closures are due to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) work on the Newton/Weston bridge rehabilitation project at the I-90/I-95 interchange.
Drivers seeking to access I-90 eastbound and westbound from I-95 northbound (Route 128) will be rerouted to I-95 southbound (Route 128), where they can take exit 37 to reverse direction back to I-90.
Signage, law enforcement details, and message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area. Work is weather dependent and may change without notice.
