The Wellesley Board of Public Works has appointed Dave Cohen as the new Director of the Department of Public Works (DPW), succeeding Mike Pakstis who retired last month.
Cohen most recently served as Assistant Director of Public Works and began his career with the DPW twenty-three years ago. In announcing his appointment, the Board recognized Cohen's outstanding leadership skills and wealth of knowledge which will help make the transition to his new role as seamless as possible for DPW operations.
As Director, Cohen will oversee all DPW operations including the maintenance and improvement of all assets and infrastructure under the jurisdiction of the Board of Public Works.
