Wellesley's Annual Election will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Individuals can run for a town-wide office or for a Town Meeting Member seat in their specific precinct.
Pick up nomination papers in the Town Clerk's Office at Town Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Please note: Town Hall will close at noon on December 24 and 31 and be closed all day on December 25 and January 1, 2026).
Residents interested in running for a town-wide office must gather 50 signatures of registered Wellesley voters. See the Election Calendar for specific candidate deadlines.
The deadline to return nomination papers for town-wide office positions is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026.
