Registration is now open for the Wellesley Youth Commission 2019 Summer Programs!
Attend Eco Camp and learn about the environment from the Wellesley Conservation Council; get hands-on experience with Fire Rescuers from the Wellesley Fire Department; explore law enforcement at the Wellesley Police Department Youth Academy; or Train for TV with Wellesley Media.
All summer programs offered through the Wellesley Youth Commission are free and open to Wellesley youth (residents) or students attending Wellesley Public Schools. Attendees must be entering grades 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2019.
Program dates are:
- Eco Summer Program July 15-19, 2019, 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Fire Rescuers July 22-26, 2019, 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- WPD Youth Academy July 29-August 2, 2019, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Train for TV with Wellesley Media (entering 8th only) August 19-23, 2019, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Applicants may choose to apply to any of these summer exploration programs but can attend only one program per summer. Please identify 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices appropriately in the Summer Program application.
Participants will be chosen by lottery and email confirmations will be sent early March.
