The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing overnight closures of multiple ramps at the I-90/I-95 interchange in Newton and Weston.
The closures will take place nightly on Tuesday, January 6, and Thursday, January 8, and Friday, January 9, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
Ramps from both I-95 Route 128) northbound and I-90 (Mass Pike) eastbound and westbound will be closed during overnight hours. Detours will be in place, and signage and law enforcement details will help guide drivers through the work area.
On Wednesday, January 7, the ramp from I-90 (Mass Pike) westbound to Park Drive in Weston will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
These closures will allow crews to safely conduct construction operations related to the Newton/Weston bridge rehabilitation project.
Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
