Wellesley Public Schools is asking for input on updated draft elementary school redistricting maps.
The draft maps were developed by the Redistricting Advisory Committee and originally shared with the community in January.
After significant input from residents at two community forums, a survey, and day-to-day communications, the committee used this feedback and to refine and develop updated map options.
The updated maps will be presented to the School Committee at a public hearing on Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. Residents are encouraged to attend the hearing and give input.
The School Committee will not be making any decisions on the maps at the public hearing.
To allow ample time for community feedback, no action on the maps is planned until the School Committee’s regular meeting on February, 25.
