How are you coping with the ongoing pandemic?
Wellesley residents and business owners are invited to join in "A Community Conversation on Coping with COVID-19 in Wellesley" on Tuesday, April 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. This Zoom discussion will be hosted by trained facilitators who are part of the newly launched Wellesley Civil Discourse Initiative.
The goal of the April 6 event – and the initiative – is to help build understanding and connections among people throughout our community. The Zoom discussion will begin with a brief introduction to facilitated dialogue, followed by small group discussions led by trained facilitator.
The event is open to the public and will not be recorded or broadcast. Please register here to receive the Zoom link which will be sent out on April 5 (the day before the event).
Please help the planning team build participation in the community dialogue on April 6 as we lay the groundwork for future dialogues on other topics. Invite members of your organization, or your friends, neighbors, and family to create a cross section of Wellesley citizens. Click here for the event flyer.
Town officials and the planning team appreciate the help of all residents in supporting this important initiative.
On March 23, the Wellesley Civil Discourse Initiative was launched with an introductory webinar for the public, “Community Conversations: How Citizens Are Rebuilding the Public Square.” Click here for a video recording.
