Work continues this fall on the Grove Street reconstruction project.
Department of Public Works crews and contractors are realigning the Dover Road intersection, and installing curbs, sidewalks, crosswalks, wheelchair ramps, and other improvements along the 11/4 mile roadway.
New utility poles are also being installed and the old poles removed.
Most of this work takes place during the day on Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Night work is expected in late September for pavement milling and will require road closures.
Homeowners will be notified in advance of this work.
Please continue to anticipate sidewalk closures and traffic delays in this area and allow extra time or use alternate routes. Police details are present to help with vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
