Catch Connect_bus

Need a ride in Wellesley? Take the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) "Catch Connect" mini bus.

"Catch Connect" is an on-demand, app-based Micro Transit service that allows riders to book trips anywhere in town, and some nearby locations, during regular service hours.

Similar to Uber and Lyft, this is a first-come, first-served service that transports individuals or groups of up to 4 riders at a time to their destination(s).

Users can download the MWRTA CATCH App, register for an account, and start riding. (If you are unable to access the "Catch Connect" app, please call Catch Connect customer service at 508-283-5083.)

Wait times for pick up with "Catch Connect" currently average between 10 - 30 minutes, but may be more at peak times. Service hours are 6:45 a.m. to 6:54 p.m. Monday through Friday, except during holidays. Mini-buses are fully accessible. The service is currently free with expected ride fares between $2.00 and $3.00.

Wellesley has been piloting the "Catch Connect" for the past six months. Riders can use the app anywhere in Wellesley including the following locations outside of town:

  • Newton Wellesley Hospital
  • Woodland and Waban T stations
  • Natick Community Center
  • Volante Farms, Needham
  • Trader Joe's, Needham

Take the "Catch Connect" and then, take the MWRTA survey to share feedback that will help improve this service. Be sure to include your email address to be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card. The deadline to complete surveys is Friday, November 15.
