Residents who want to run for a town wide office in Wellesley must obtain nomination papers by Friday, January 7 at 5 p.m.
Wellesley's municipal government structure relies on dedicated volunteers. Serve on a board or a committee, help shape the future of our Town, and give back to the community.
To run for an elected office, candidates must be Wellesley residents and for certain offices, they must also be registered voters. Details on running for Town Wide Office are on the Local Elections webpage.
Nomination papers are available from the Town Clerk. On Friday, January 7 the Clerk's Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are encouraged to pick up papers; contact the Clerk's office at 781-431-1019 ext. 2250.

Individuals who pull papers must collect 50 signatures and return their nomination papers to the Town Clerk by Tuesday, January 11.
For anyone considering running for a Town Meeting Member position, the deadline to obtain those nomination papers is Friday, January 21 at 5 p.m.
