Real estate tax bills for the 3rd Quarter of Fiscal Year 2022 are due on Tuesday, February 1st. Homeowners are encouraged to pay bills online.
Wellesley offers an online payment system through the Town website. Many taxpayers already use this feature to schedule payment of their bill via an ACH debit from their bank account on a specific date at no charge to the taxpayer (a credit card can also be used but there is a convenience fee of 2.95% assessed to the taxpayer).
Go to www.wellesleyma.gov and click on “Pay a Bill” via the main page. There are step-by-step instructions on how to process your tax payment.
Tax payments also may be hand-delivered to the ballot and payment drop box in front of Town Hall (Washington Street side entrance). Please bring your payment envelope and include the bottom portion of the bill in the envelope with your check. This secure drop-box is checked multiple times a day.
