[ARCHIVED] Healthy Home Design Webinar on March 10

Climate Action Logo No Tagline

Are you considering renovating or building a new home? Attend a free webinar on Thursday, March 10 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. to learn about healthy, high performing homes that offer value, comfort, and a way to reduce your emissions.

This virtual event supports the Town of Wellesley’s newly launched Climate Action Plan (CAP) which maps out goals and actions residents can take to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in our community.

As the CAP outlines, in 2020 63.6% of Wellesley’s emissions came from our buildings. By considering and implementing healthy home building practices, residents can help the Town reach our goals of transitioning away from fossil fuels and achieving net-zero emissions by the year 2050.

Topics covered in the webinar include:

  • Renovating existing homes to improve comfort and reduce carbon footprints
  • Designing new homes for maximum energy performance
  • Best practices for high performing homes

This free event is open to all; please register in advance.

The webinar is hosted by the Wellesley Climate Action Committee and Sustainable Wellesley.
