Run for Town Meeting member in Precinct A!
Due to a resignation, there is a vacant Town Meeting member seat in this precinct. According to the Town Bylaws, a Special Election must take place to fill this vacancy.
The Town Clerk will hold this Special Election on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom with all current Precinct A members participating.
Interested candidates for the Special Election must be registered voters in Precinct A and will serve until the next Annual Town Election.
Any resident may nominate a candidate for this position, or candidates may nominate themselves. Nominations must be received by March 15 and should be in writing or by email and include name, address, and email address if available. The nominee's permission should be obtained in advance.
The winner of this Special Election will take part in the 2022 Annual Town Meeting that begins on Monday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom videoconferencing.
