alert-image.red

HEAT ADVISORY: A heat advisory will be in effect on Thursday 8/4/22 with oppressive heat and humidity through the weekend. A heat advisory means an increased risk of heat exhaustion during outdoor exertion or extended exposure. Beginning on Thursday and continuing into the weekend temperatures in our area could consistently reach 90 degrees or higher. Residents are encouraged to avoid prolonged sun exposure, wear sun protection such as hats and sunscreen and remain hydrated. Take extra precaution if working or spending time outside. When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Try to avoid times of peak sun. For full heat advisory tips and information, including places to stay cool, visit the Wellesley Health Department’s website.
