The driveway to the Wellesley Housing Authority at 503 Washington Street will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, September 14 due to paving work at the Wellesley Police Department. 
Crews will begin paving the new police parking lot at 7:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The Housing Authority driveway is adjacent to the new parking lot.
Once the lot has been paved, driveway access will reopen, but parking on the newly paved surface will remain closed until the asphalt has cured. Access to the Wellesley Police Department is not affected by this work.
There is ample metered parking on Washington Street that can be used while paving is in progress.
