[ARCHIVED] Forest Street and Wellesley Ave-We want your feedback!

Residents and travelers that frequent the Forest St and Wellesley Ave intersection we want to hear from you!

Wellesley Ave and Forest Street overview photo. The Town has implemented a small temporary change at the intersection of Forest St and Wellesley Ave, near Babson College. The intersection is controlled by an all way stop and the alignment of the streets makes for an awkward angle. While the sight lines are acceptable and the overall safety history has been good, there seems to be an opportunity to increase the sight lines and to improve the processing time. The pilot put in place will eliminate a turning movement from Forest Street southbound to Wellesley Avenue eastbound. Signage directing vehicles to use Sawyer Park Road, which is a close by alternative for this lightly used turn, have been installed.

We are interested in the thoughts and opinions of the roadway users, so please provide us your feedback at the email listed below.  You will not receive a response, but your feedback will be important in considering any permanent modifications to the intersection.  Thank you.
