Want to run for a town wide office in Wellesley? The deadline to obtain nomination papers is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13.
Interested candidates must be Wellesley residents, and for some offices, must also be registered voters. Papers are available from the Town Clerk and must be picked up in-person.
A list of elected town wide offices and detailed instructions for candidates are on the Town Clerk's webpages. There are currently no candidates running for the Recreation Commission.
Nomination papers must be returned to the Town Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17.
Town Meeting Member Candidates
Candidates interested in running for a Town Meeting Member position have a few mores weeks to pull papers for those positions.
Town Meeting member papers are available until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27. Those papers may also be picked up from the Town Clerk and must be returned by Tuesday, January 31.
Wellesley's Annual Election will take place on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
