The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) is rolling out a five-year Capital Investment Plan (CIP).
This is a financial plan that funds all MBTA capital projects from project planning and design through construction.
The CIP includes projects that prioritize renovating stations, modernizing technology systems, upgrading services on buses, subways, and ferries, and improving the accessibility of the entire system.
Riders are encouraged to share comments on the CIP at two public meetings this month. The meeting schedule is below:
- Tuesday, April 4, 6:30 p.m. in the MassDOT Board Room, 10 Park Plaza, Boston. Register here.
- Wednesday, April 12, 6:30 p.m. on Zoom. Register here.
