Department of Public Works (DPW) crews will continue resurfacing area roads in July.
Milling and chip sealing will take place in specific neighborhoods. Drivers should expect temporary detours.
From Wednesday, July 5 through Sunday, July 10, milling work will be done on the following roads:
- Rice Street
- Lathrop Roads
- Maugus Avenue
- Seaward Road
- Cedar Street
- Brook Street
Most milling will be done during the daytime hours except for work on Cedar Street and Brook Street. Work on those two streets will take place overnight on July 9-10.
Chip sealing work will begin on July 12 during the daytime on the following roads:
- Auburn Road
- Carver Road
- Grantland Road
- Louis Drive
- Manor Avenue
- Oxford Road
- Sunnyside Avenue
- Wareland Road
- Woodfield Road.
